Dayo Lawuyi, MON
Chairman
Mr. Lawuyi is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom (ACCA). He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Member of the Institute of Management Consultants.
Dayo Lawuyi became a Board Member of a publicly quoted company in 1982 by being appointed as the Finance Director of the then Hagemeyer Nigeria Plc, now D. N. Meyer Plc. He now serves as the Chairman of the company’s Board. Prior to joining D.N. Meyer, he served in various capacities in Berger Paints, Michelin Group and Rank Xerox. He also worked as a Management Consultant with the then Coopers Lybrand Associates, now PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He was invited to the Board of Dunlop Nigeria Plc in 1986, and became the Managing Director of the company in 1991. He is now the Chairman of the Board of the Company. Mr. Lawuyi has also held a number of other Board positions in other Companies including Afribank Nigeria Plc and TrustFund Plc.
His varied experience in other economic spheres spans over 35 years, with over 26 years on the Boards of various corporate bodies. Mr. Lawuyi has also served in various other capacities, some of which include:

Dayo Lawuyi was conferred with the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) in November, 2000. He is
married with children.
Abiodun Akinjayeju
Managing Director
Abiodun has a first degree in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1988) and an MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University (1999). He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and Fellow, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS). He attended the Euromoney Senior Management Development Programme in 2001 and the Executive Management Programme of the London Management Centre in 2009.
Mr. Akinjayeju served as Special Adviser to the Honourable Commissioner for Finance of Lagos State on Technical Matters. He assumed responsibility at FundQuest in July 2012 from FBN Capital Limited where he was at various times Head, Capital Markets, CEO FBN Securities Limited (a subsidiary of FBN Capital), and later as Vice President in charge of Investment Management overseeing the Funds and Asset Management business of the First Bank subsidiary between 2006 and 2011.
Prior to joining FBN Capital Limited, he was in charge of the Investment Banking Unit in the Corporate Finance Group of First Bank of Nigeria Plc. Between 1995 and 2001, Abiodun had responsibilities for the Capital Markets, Securities Underwriting and Wealth Management businesses of Afribank International Limited (Merchant Bankers).
Abiodun’s experience includes leading key deal structuring in project finance, financial advisory, debt and equity capital raising, investment management, and securities trading. He also has significant hands-on experience in privatisation advisory (buy-side and sell-side deal structuring), management buy-out and SME balance sheet restructuring.
Bisi Oni
Executive Director
Bisi Oni is a highly skilled economist with extensive experience in financial advisory and asset management. He obtained a second-class upper division in his first degree and graduated with a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos. Bisi is widely recognized for his academic achievements, as he emerged as the best-graduating student in the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria in 1997 and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers in 2004.
With years of experience in the financial industry, Bisi has worked with top-tier financial institutions such as Financial Derivatives Company, FBN Merchant Bankers, FBN Capital (now FBNQuest Merchant Bank), and the Managing Director and CEO of FBN Securities Limited. He led several capital raises for corporates and sub-national bonds during his tenure, displaying his strong financial and analytical skills. Bisi is also well-versed in budgeting, financial planning, and risk management.
In addition to his experience in financial management, Bisi is highly skilled in corporate strategy, investment management, negotiations and resource management. He has also developed strong analytical and presentation skills and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS) and Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB), both in Nigeria. Bisi is a fellow of the London-based Leadership for Environment and Development [www.lead.org] where he has been involved in developing initiatives in the areas of business and investment sustainability.
Jonathan Onigbinde
Non-Executive Director
Jonathan is a successful and through-bred professional and business manager. He is currently managing Nigerian Associated Best Foods Limited, a Jos-based indigenous conglomerate in the Food sector. Before joining Nigerian Associated Best Foods Limited, he had worked in Standard Bank of West Africa (now FirstBank Plc). Jonathan has a degree in Economics from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, USA in 1973 and an MBA from Tulane University, New Orleans, USA in 1974.
Shortly after his MBA programme in 1974, he worked as an Audit staff with Arthur Young Co, Dallas, Texas, USA and later Mc Cleolard Mores, London, UK in 1975. Mr. Onigbinde was Member, Board of Directors, Nestle Nigeria Plc (Agricultural Division).
He currently serves in various other capacities some of which include:

Rotimi Adekunle Hussain
Non-Executive Director
Adekunle Hussain was the pioneer Director-General of Lagos State Pension Commission (LASPEC) since April, 2009 where he exhibited a high level of professional competence in the administration of the Contributory Pension Scheme particularly in the Public Sector of the State. Under his leadership, Lagos State blazed the trail, as the first State in Nigeria to migrate effectively from the Defined Benefit Scheme to the new Contributory Pension Scheme. Prior to his appointment as the Director-General of LASPEC, Adekunle Hussain had worked meritoriously at the top management level with the First Bank of Nigeria Plc, spanning a period of 31 years (1978 to 2009), after his mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) programme between 1977 and 1978.
He brought his rich experience in the banking sector to bear on this assignment of ensuring efficient pension fund administration in the Public Sector of Lagos State, where he successfully supervised remittances of about $500million to selected Pension Fund Administrators between April 2009 and June 2015.
Mr. Hussain graduated from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1977 with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, and also holds a Master of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Ibadan (1992), where he was the winner of the Afribank prize for best graduating student with an all-round performance in M.Sc. (Banking and Finance) and winner of the R.B. Osayemeh Annual Prize in Banking and Finance. He is a fellow of The Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, and he is married with children.
Upon leaving the service of Lagos State, Mr. Hussain did not go into full retirement, but engaged in private business with interests in construction, and management consultancy. He presently serves as Lead Partner in a management consortium, Hopeadek Global Resources Limited Consortium, engaged as Asset Management Partners by Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
Abiola Macaulay
Independent Director
Mrs. Abiola Macaulay is a graduate of Accountancy from Bayero University, Kano and obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ado-Ekiti. She also obtained an Executive Diploma from the University of Lagos. She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and a talented and adept Capital Market Operator with over 30 years of cognate working experience in the Advisory, Restructuring and Capital Market.
Abiola Macaulay presently runs Capital Express Securities Limited as its Chief Executive Officer – an associate company of Capital Express Group. The CESL, is a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange registered by the Securities &Exchange Commission. Accordingly, the Capital Express Group devolved the full complement of its Investment Banking and Capital Market capabilities to the Company. The CESL business she runs is conducted primarily in Nigeria with Pan –African focus to expand to other Africa countries by leveraging on her parent company with presence in five African countries, Kenya, Gambia, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
Over the years, she has led numerous project teams advising in the public sector space – the Nigeria Government and Corporate Institutions on major financial transactions. She is primarily responsible for the former Intercontinental Bank group’s Capital Market’s activities. In this capacity, she has managed numerous diverse transactions, Small Medium and Enterprise (SME) business, and mergers & acquisitions amongst which are setting up, monitoring and evaluation of the SMEIS programmes, divestment of Evans Therapeutic Limited, Cornerstones Asset Management, Prime Wealth Nominees, Capital Express Assurance Ghana, Capital Express Assurance Liberia, Capital Express Assurance Sierra Lone , EDC Registrars Limited, Acquisition of Kellogs Assets Management, BGL Sapphire Fund , Union Trustee Mixed Fund, divestment of Access Bank Subsidiaries, Access Bank /Intercontinental Acquisitions and Merger, Wema Takeover, First Inland Bank merger, privatization of African Petroleum, packaging of Crusader Insurance, packaging of A-Z Mutual Funds, Intercontinental Bank Plc merger and public offer etc.
She fully understands the dynamics of professional due diligence processes and other coordination issues peculiar to privatization and corporate finance deal structuring. She has attended several local and foreign courses among which are Marketing Financial Services by Lagos Business School, Integrated Financial Management School by Euromoney South Africa and Private Wealth, Portfolio Management by Euromoney, London and International Housing Finance Program, Wharton University of Pennsylvania, USA. She is currently an executive Director with Capital Express Securities and an Independent Director with EDC Registrars Limited.
