Abiodun Akinjayeju
Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
Abiodun has a first degree in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1988) and an MBA in Finance from Obafemi Awolowo University (1999). He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and Fellow, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS). He attended the Euromoney Senior Management Development Programme in 2001 and the Executive Management Programme of the London Management Centre in 2009.
Mr. Akinjayeju served as Special Adviser to the Honourable Commissioner for Finance of Lagos State on Technical Matters. He assumed responsibility at FundQuest in July 2012 from FBN Capital Limited where he was at various times Head, Capital Markets, CEO FBN Securities Limited (a subsidiary of FBN Capital), and later as Vice President in charge of Investment Management overseeing the Funds and Asset Management business of the First Bank subsidiary between 2006 and 2011.
Prior to joining FBN Capital Limited, he was in charge of the Investment Banking Unit in the Corporate Finance Group of First Bank of Nigeria Plc. Between 1995 and 2001, Abiodun had responsibilities for the Capital Markets, Securities Underwriting and Wealth Management businesses of Afribank International Limited (Merchant Bankers).
Abiodun’s experience includes leading key deal structuring in project finance, financial advisory, debt and equity capital raising, investment management, and securities trading. He also has significant hands-on experience in privatisation advisory (buy-side and sell-side deal structuring), management buy-out and SME balance sheet restructuring.
Dr. Bisi Oni
Deputy Managing Director / Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Bisi Oni is an accomplished economist and finance executive with over two decades of experience in financial advisory, corporate finance, and asset management. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Babcock University and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos. A two-time best graduating student from the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, he brings deep academic and professional excellence to the industry.
He has led strategic roles at top financial institutions such as Financial Derivatives Company, FBN Capital, and FBN Securities Limited, where he served as Managing Director/CEO. He started his career with Financial Derivatives Company Limited, moved to FBN (Merchant Bankers) Limited, and later FBN Capital Limited, where he set up the Research and Strategy Department. In August 2008, he became the MD/CEO of FBN Securities Limited.
He currently serves as the Deputy Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer of FundQuest Finance Company Limited, where he oversees its day-to-day operations, corporate strategy, market development, IT, and customer experience.
A consummate investment analyst, writer and facilitator, Dr. Oni is a Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and a Fellow of the London-based LEAD. He also sits on the boards of VAS2Nets and DODO, and provides financial governance to his community association. His expertise spans investment management, risk oversight, and sustainable finance. He is currently pursuing further research in Energy Economics, focusing on global markets and sustainability.
Kunle Adelabu
Head, Operations & Management Services
Kunle holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance, both from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is an Associate Member, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), and was a multiple Prize Winner in ICAN Examinations.
Kunle has over a decade experience in the financial services industry, covering financial operations, corporate strategy, banking technology, and process automation. He currently leads the Operations & Management Services team at FundQuest, with main responsibilities for managing the Company’s financial operations across its business segments, overseeing the business support services, and coordinating the Digital Transformation Strategy.
Kunle is highly skilled in intelligent Robotic Process Automation
(RPA), and holds multiple certifications in UiPath, both as an Automation
Developer and Business Analyst. He equally holds multiple certifications in
Power Platform, and has consistently leveraged its wide range of toolkits to
create automation solutions across diverse business use cases. He is also a certified
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and an Agile/Scrum professional, with certifications
in Scrum.
He is married and blessed with a daughter.
Olusegun Oyetola
Head, Credit Origination & Management
Olusegun holds a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) Degree from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State.
Olusegun supervised the Risk Management & Compliance function and currently the Head, Credit Origination & Management at FundQuest. He has over a decade’s experience in the financial services sector, working at various times with Access Bank, Accion MFB, Letshego MFB and Wapic Insurance Plc. His extensive work experience in Risk Management cuts across the fields of Internal Audit, Internal Control and Compliance, Business Process Review and Improvement, Credit Administration and Recovery, amongst others.
Joan Ediagbonya
Head, Brand Communication & Customer Experience
Joan Ediagbonya has over 13 years of experience in Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Corporate Communication, Customer Experience and Business Strategy. She has built a strong track record of driving brand growth and business transformation across digital and traditional channels, combining strategic thinking with creative, customer-focused communication that translates complex business objectives into compelling brand experiences. She brings professionalism, creativity and a distinctive human approach to every system, earning her a reputation as a versatile strategic thinker and “a two-edged sword”!
Joan’s professional experience spans some of Nigeria’s most recognised organisations, including Konga.com, where she contributed to the launch of the highly successful “Fall Yakata” Black Friday campaign; Heirs Holdings, the Tony Elumelu-owned investment holding company; Leadway Assurance, where she pioneered Nigeria’s first fully digital life insurance product; Bounce News Nigeria; Lonadek Global Services; and FundQuest Financial Services, where she currently leads Brand Communication and Customer Experience, having delivered a full brand overhaul that earned her promotion into senior management.
Joan holds an Executive Masters (MSc) in Marketing and Communication from Rome Business School, a MicroMasters from Curtin University, Australia, and a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute/Brandschool South Africa.
She speaks on Branding, Business Innovation, Customer Experience, Strategic Marketing, Change and Corporate Communication. If she is not doing these, she is busy listening to and making Music for positive change.
Aduragbemi Oyedokun
Head, Internal Audit & Control
Aduragbemi holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Accounting and he is a seasoned Chartered Accountant. He is a Certified Quality Auditor (ISO 9001:2015) and also a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK (ACCA).
Aduragbemi is an Experienced Auditor with over 12 years demonstrable experience in diverse industries, including Banking and Real Estate. He is skilled in Internal Audit, Financial Accounting, Microsoft Excel, and Risk Management. He maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, and accuracy.
Olakunle Ayodeji
Group Head, Business Development
Olakunle AYODEJI holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology from the prestigious University of Lagos and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the same university. His vast experience in the financial services sector cuts across Business Development, Credit Underwriting, Credit Risk Analysis, Financial Analysis, Relationship Management, and Loan Collection amongst others.
Olakunle has attended several trainings organized by ELAN, FHAN, FITC, CRC amongst others.
